I Know ... Let's buy a book!
Yeah, that's always a good move ... That's what I did when our eldest Son was on the way and he turned out OK. It's what I did when they tried to build an airport right next to our house and that got stopped. And it's what I did when I wanted to create a web-site and that ... well, two out of three ain't bad. Actually I don't think any of those events were influenced in the slightest by the relevant reading matter and, come to think of it, I also bought a book when I wanted to loose weight and well, why do you think I'm so concerned about building a boat that may turn out to be too small?

Anyway, Alan bought 'Boatbuilding for Beginners (and Beyond)'. Well, I'm not sure if I've got the pre-requisite skills as I'm not even a beginner yet but I get myself a copy all the same. It arrives, I flick through it. It seems quite interesting so, I stick it in the bookshelf between 'So You're Having a Baby?' and 'Don't Turn off the Landing Light' happy in the knowledge that possession of this marvellous tome will make the build go much smoother.
