Re-Reviewing the situation I'm obviously not happy with my choice of craft because I keep running the same argument in my head. It is a good little boat and should be easier to build than many others but, it's not really the right boat for me. In fact, it's not nearly the right boat for me. This project may be primarily about the building but, there's not much point in building something I just would not (or could not) sail at the end of it. The 2.6m pram design is a kids boat and I reckon I'm equivalent to about 2.5 of those in size & weight (0.5 in intellect). My own kids are taller than me now so, this boat is just not going to work for us. Besides, it has been raining heavily for the last 3 days and floods are, once again, the main story in the news. 'We are going to need a bigger boat' (and a bad hat). Index ----- | |
